You too can be a Champion of Change! Your donations to a well, goats or other projects will have a profound effect on many people in Northern Uganda. A single well will enable between 1000-2000 people to have clean and safe water often reducing waterborne illnesses by 85%!
Any amount is greatly appreciated. The full cost of a well is $2500.00. For any donation less than the full cost of a well we hold until we have enough for a well. The time from donation to completion is on average about two months. Once a well is completed a certificate is sent to the donor(s) with pictures and information about the village.
Goats are $35.00. We give groups of 10 goats to organized groups within villages. These goats can provide milk and are bred for sale. This can be a major source of income for villages. Once we give a group of 10 goats we supply each donor with a certificate. The certificate will have a photo of the goats and villagers and information about the village.
You can donate to our general fund. This money is used where needed the most. It may be used to finish a well, buy goats or help villagers with simple farming tools. No matter the use we will inform you of where the money was applied.
Northern Uganda Development Foundation is a registered, non profit charity. A tax receipt will be issued for donation of $20 or more. Your donation will be used to bring safe drinking water to those in need. You can make a donation to support this work in several ways.
